Carpenter's Hall

Built between 1770 and 1774 to house the guild of carpenters, this is where the First Continental Congress met to discuss a response to the British closure of Boston Harbor.


Independence Hall and Liberty Bell

Independence Hall

Built 1732-56 as the State House of Pennsylvania, this is where the Second Continental Congress met for most of the Revolution.



Assembly Room of Independence Hall

Perhaps the most historic room in America, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were debated here.
