Nam Dae Chon Valley
After leaving the railroad station, we rode to Outpost Crush Communism near where the Nam Dae Chon river meets the Hantan Chon. One of our fellow tour members, Willard Holman, was stationed somewhere along this valley during the war, apparently on a ridgetop with his artillery unit the 75th Field Artillery Bn. These three pictures were taken on the way to OP Crush Communism. The first photo was taken near 560340 on the Kumhwa map.
