These were the facility's original buildings. As you can see, at the time of my visit the buildings were walled off. Hopefully they were under restoration. As you can see from the 18th Century artwork on the bottom, additional buildings extended from the ends of these buildings, and two walls joined the rows of buildings together to form a courtyard. It was here that small arms and artillery ammunition was produced. Later, the entire courtyard was roofed over.
