Communist Advance

We left the battlefield as it was getting dark so these photos are not of the best quality.  Nevertheless, you can get a good idea about the view the advancing North Korean tankers had.  It is also clear that most Korean now own cars.


This is the view from the plain looking toward the ridge.


This is the view from the lower slopes of the ridge.


We are approaching the top.


You can see the crest.  The tanks certainly would have been under fire by this point.  Two tanks were disabled just over the crest, probably from howitzer fire.
